getting around
Alrighty Timanee. Here is your blog. to begin you go to www.blogger.com, sign in with your email and password. it will take you to the "dashboard" which is a fancy name for your homepage. This is just where you control your blog, its not what others see. this is really the only important part, these are the tabs you see.
New Post, Edit Posts, Comments, Settings, Design, Monetize, Stats.
By clicking new post, it will take you to the screen where you can write posts. The title is where you put what you want to call the post, and the big white box is where you write your post. You can edit it all fancy it you want with the little buttons right about the white box, like box text, font changes yada yada. if you want to add a picture, you click the little picture of a mountain, right above the white box. a little box will pop up and you will add a picture much like you do in facebook.
Edit posts, you click that if you want to edit any of your previous post. pretty easy
Comments, you click on that to publish or not publish comments people write to you. Any time someone writes you a comment, it will tell you on the homescreen that you have 1 comment.
Settings, this is where you edit settings, like privacy, notifications, etc, much like you do on facebook. I rarely go there, so browse it and see if there is anything there you wanna change.
design. This is where you change the look of your blog. I just chose random things for you, you can play around with it. When you first click on design, it will take you to this weird looking page with boxes everywhere, dont be scared. This is just showing you how your blog layout is, without all the words or pretty stuff. If you want to change the order of the things on the side, this is where you do it. in the top left hand corner of this page there is a link called template designer, this is where you can change the background, the font color, pretty much everything. Its way too much info for me to try and type, but just play around with it and its pretty easy to use. going back to the design page, if you want to edit your header, right now thats the ting that says olsen life and then I put a little quote, just click edit next to header, and you can change it. If you want to add a picture let me know and I will give you more instructions cause that can get tricky. for me the easiest way to edit things, is to actually view your profile, and click the little wrench and screw next to what I want to edit. So go to your blog, click view blog, and look at the right side. There is a box that says friends, and right now has one blog. this is the blogroll, where you put all the blogs you want to follow and read. So far you just have one cause I didnt know who you would want. but click the tools, then click the big blue button that says add to list, and type in their blog address.
when you are done with this post, and you dont need it anymore, go to edit posts, check mark this post, and click delete. :)
